There have been a few public houses in Witton Gilbert over the years as well as the club & a Hotel, at present there are only 3, The White Tun, The Glenndening Arms & The Travellers rest. The names of the others are Half way house, The Three Tuns, The Black Lion & The Station Tavern also named The Gay Tavern & lastly know as The Centurion. If anyone has any information on the public houses i.e when they were built or stopped selling ale land lords old photos please email me by clicking this link.

Over the coming months I would like to split this page into sections, public houses now & public houses past, this way you will be able to see with a little luck and read about each public house, name changes if any, when it opened when it closed what it is now or being used for just general information of interest.
